I will not be continuing to post pics/videos, starting this year. There are
several reasons for this. Not necessarily in order of importance, these reasons
include: First, the number of pictures I have taken has been increasing each year (as well as from other sources). It takes me considerable time to organize, select, edit and post them. Second, Apple, Google and others have facial and other recognition tools that organize the many pictures taken on ones mobile phone. For example, on Brett's recent birthday my phone (without me asking) posted 29 photos of him in a slide show. Similarly, grouping of pics/videos are avialable for groups, couples, locations, dates, subjects, etc. Even though I'd like to think that I organized and edited more specifically, these capabilities are hard to compete with. Third, my ancient (but well maintained) computer just had a hard drive crash. I will be getting a new one soon, but meanwhile I am able to continue posting on an old laptop of Jeannie's. Hence my completion of 2025. I will continue to maintain everything that is posted. My continued effort will go toward along two lines. First I will be adding scanned photos from many years ago. These, of course, would not be available to current advanced searches. Second I'm planning on making a few subsets of all I have posted, This would be for certain families, or by subject (like the baseball trips taken over the years).
